kanda bachali kura
ingredients:
kanda -1/2 kg
bachali aku-2 cups
pachi mirchi-5
curry leaves-
senagapappu-2spoons
minapappu-2spoons
avalu 2 spoons
red chillies-4
jeera -1spoon
tammarind -one big lemon sized or amchur powder 2 spoons
salt to taste
haldi 1/4 spoon
procedure
first wash kanda and remove the skin and cut them into cube shaped pieces
wash bachali aku and cut them
place them in a pan and presure cook
along with them add haldi also
for ava :
add 2 spoons of avalu and a pinch of haldi and red chillies and grind them into fine poder
to the powder add little oil and keep aside
now take a big pan,add oil and add senagapappu,minnapappu,jeera ,avalu ,red chillies and curry leavesand mirchi
after they r fried add cooked kanda and bachali to it add salt according to taste
add tamarind pulp or amachur powder according to u r convienence .
after it is cooked well put off the stove and add ava to the curry
now kanda bachali kura is ready to eat [:)]
