Happy holi


Holi is celebrated with great enthusiasm and gaiety on the full moon day in the month of Phalguna which is normally in the month of March as per the English calendar. The Phalguna Pournami is also called as “Holika Pournami” and “Maha Phalguni”. In the times of Vedas people used to will believe that a new year starts on this day. It is believed that this festival is being celebrated from before Christ (B.C). 

Holi, Colours will fill the atmosphere as people throw abeer and gula in the air showing great joy and mirth. Holika Pournami is called with different names in different places of India as Kamuni pournami in Telugu, Kama Habbi in Kannada, and Kaman Sandigai in Tamil etc
